The concept of training Basic life support, advance life support to Nurses and Doctors is picking up slowly here in India. Hospitals and Doctors have understood the benefits of training healthcare providers in Basic and advance life support techniques. The structured approach to an Emergency Care, algorithms of AHA, European resuscitation guidelines are soon finding their way to the heart and sole of those involved in the field of EMS, critical care or pre-hospital care.

We have to follow some guidelines be it American, British or COUNTRYMADE. The guidelines by AHA and ERC are sufficient and we presently are using them without acknowledging them or doing an iota of research as to how much they are correct, and efficient. As they say, Old habbits die hard similarly Indian habit of sub-consciously accepting and implementing all that is published from the west will change.

Inspired by the AHA and ERC guidelines with Indian spices to make the program palatable for the Indians we have come up with Indigenous training program targeted at Nurses and Doctors. We are trying to also organize the Workshops for traffic Police, Fire, and other immediate medical care service providers.

FIRST AID COURSES

Basic Life support Adult Heart Saver Course

This course provides essential training for anyone seeking to learn proper

Course CPR and first-aid techniques for choking. Provides background

Contents Information about heart and lung function, anatomy and function, coronary artery disease, and risk factors for heart attack. The class will also cover how to recognize heart attacks, stroke, and foreign-body airway obstruction.

Recommended For :- Employees in corporate environments, hotel staff and management, Emergency Response Team members, employees in dangerous or hazardous work environments including construction, manufacturing, law enforcement, confined space environments, technology, biotechnology/pharmaceutical environments, lifeguards at the swimming pools, sports trainers, physical fitness instructors.

Duration :- 4-6 Hours.

Certificate :- Course completion Card issued.

Re-certification :- Two Years

Cost :- INR 3500 per person. Schemes for groups available on request (USD80)

Books :- BLS books available on demand. Relevant Course content provided during the session.

CD :- INR 800

Dates Available :- Every 2nd Saturday of the month. Course with hands on training on mannequins can be organized in your office if the group is more than 10 persons.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Course Contents:- This is the standards provider class for Advanced Cardiac Life Support. If you have no experience with ACLS, it is highly recommended that you attend a review session prior to the class. All students must have a current Provider Manual with them to attend this class. The class spans two days, 8 hours on the first day, and 4 hours on the second day.

Recommended for: - This course is designed for Physicians, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, Registered Nurse, Physician Assistants and other medical care providers who need to obtain or update resuscitation skills and documentation. Weve had surgeons, anesthesiologists, family and general practitioners, nurse anesthetists, radiologists, ICU nurses, and all specialties of internal medicine represented at our prior courses.

Duration:- 2day first day 9am to 5pm second day 9am to 3pm.

Certificate:- Course completion card issued.

Re-certification:- Two years.

Cost :- 8500 per person. Schemes for groups available on request (240).

Books :- ACLS books available on demand. Relevant Course content provided during the session.

CD :- INR 1400 2 CDS.

Dates Available :- Held only once a month. Minimum no of groups is 8.

Training program for Nurses

Course contents

Basics of Respiratory and Cardiovascular Physiology.
Oxygen Therapy. Dosage and devices.
Basic Life support. Hands Training on Dummies.
Approach to Medical Emergency.

Recommended for: - This is course is basically targeted towards the nurses which have just finished the nursing school. The course is precise and is result oriented, the course is also strongly recommended for those nursing homes where there is rapid change in the manpower. This course would streamline the work of nurses in the ICU.
